A BRIEF MEETING WITH THE SHAKESPEAREAN NANNY IN THE GARRET OF THE HILLMAN MANSION
Q: Our attention has been focused on Captain Hillman and his statements. What are the
importance of these statements?
A: Of course they are not statements in the declarative and assertive sense of the word, rather they are
intimations, or maybe vestiges of the spiritual accomplishment - far beyond explanation I would say -
which you are trying to interpret; that is immortality. They are pieces of knowledge transcended from
the fictitious world, which you have created, to the abstract world - freed of the bonds of time and logic
consequences. Fully to grasp the concept of immortality is impossible, yet, immortality is attainable if it
is pursued with energy and in good humour. Your tool in this mission is the pronouncements of Hillman, but
the importance of them is of course created by you yourself.
I would say that every human action is potentially immortal, but the process of understanding immortality
needs external influence. That is why the sudden contact with Hillman in the fictitious world will give you a
unique opportunity. It is a remarkable finding. The personal transcendence of the self is reproduced by slowly
guiding Hillman's statements into abstractions and then further into matter and independent, mythological
existence as symbols. Transcendence is the result of communication trying to reach beyond communication. That is,
You see, the best road to immortality. The transcendence of Hillman's statement can be described as a process
of both transition and motion - transition of the word, which requires gentleness, and motion, which requires
energy and persistence. The statements of Hillman are not chamber-music for the initiated, they are enigmas to
be planted in the soil of Ladonia. This is why you need involvement from as great a number of your fellow Ladonians
as possible.
Hillman is our Captain!
